Welcome to Ridgefield Youth Lacrosse Online Registration

 

2021 Girls Spring HOUSE Clinic (Kindergarten)

The House program is for new and returning players and meets once a week on Sunday mornings. The program’s emphasis is on creating a fun and positive environment to learn the fundamental skills and rules of the game. Practices consist of 90-minute sessions focused on skill development using stations and typically end with scrimmages. 

Season:           April 18 through June 13 (no session Memorial Day Weekend)

Practices:        Sundays, 9:30 am – 10:30 am at Scotts Ridge Middle School turf field

Equipment:      Goggles, mouth piece and stick are required

Cost:                $150; $1,000 family limit.  

Uniforms:          Kids will receive a new RYL pinnie.

**Please note that a US Lacrosse Membership is required for participation in RYL programs;  you will be stepped through how to create a membership when you register here.

Cost:                $200; $1,000 family limit

RYL Boys Coaches:

Thank you for your interest in coaching boys' youth lacrosse.  Please register here.

Lacrosse experience is not necessarily required at all levels.  There may be a limited number of coaching positions available for each team.  RYL reserves the right to select and assign coaches as needed.

RYL will use the Coaches Registration page to help communicate with and assign coaches, and obtain or update US Lacrosse Membership information.

Please be aware that all RYL coaches must comply with the following requirements before the start of the spring season:

1.  Take and pass the CONNY rules test available online at www.connylacrosse.org. Click here for information. 
2.  Obtain Red Cross first aid/AED certification (details to follow).
3.  Participate in RYL Coaches Training.

ALL RYL COACHES MUST COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE THE START OF THE SEASON:

1. Complete Red Cross first aid/AED training (details to follow).

2. Participate in RYL  Coaches Training.

3. IMPORTANT: RYL 5-8th grade girls teams are a member of CONNY (Connecticut New York Youth Lacrosse Association-www.connylacrosse.org).  CONNY requires that all coaches take and pass the CONNY Online Rules Exam.  It is mandatory that all 4th-8th grade coaches take the online exam and strongly suggested that all RYL girls coaches take the exam.
